| Who & what |
The Traveller Law Research Unit (TLRU) was based at Cardiff Law School, part of Cardiff University, between March 1995 and December 2002; and ran the Telephone Legal Advice Service for Travellers (TLAST) until April 1998. It now only exists in this virtual form, and the website remains in order that you may access some of its publications, and related information. The Unit conducted and published findings on research into legal and policy issues relating to Gypsies and Travellers in the United Kingdom; and produced the magazine Travellers' Times. As the TLRU does not exist in the sense that there is no staff to respond to requests for advice or information, you could instead contact Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT) on 01273 234777; or for legal advice and representation in the UK, call the Traveller's Advice Team on 0845 120 2980 (10am-1pm & 2-5pm Mon-Fri). Thank you for visiting. | ||
