Postgraduate Research Skills Support
To assist students taking the Masters’ Programmes the Law School has created a special LLM skills support module. It is run via Blackboard, the University's Virtual Learning Enviroment (VLE) and involves scheduled presentations, seminars, workshops and other meetings with teaching staff, depending on the programme for which you are registered. For example, the first stages of this module will be delivered to students in International Commercial Law and European Legal Studies during weeks 0 and 1 of the academic year. Different arrangements are made for students studying the Canon Law and Legal Aspects of Medical Practice programmes.
It is important that all students, whatever their programme registration, take note of what is posted on Blackboard as part of this module. The module will be used to give students instructions and advice about preparation for formative (non-assessed) and summative (assessed) coursework and for the LLM Dissertation.
