The LLB Law and Welsh Degree

UCAS Code: MQ15
Cardiff University’s Law School and School of Welsh offer a full time three year honours degree course leading to an LLB in Law and Welsh. The aim of the degree is to enable students to employ legal knowledge through the medium of Welsh as well as English.
The first year subjects, all compulsory, are Foundations of English Law, Public Law, Contract Law and Criminal (in the Law School) and Cyflwyniad i'r Gymraeg and Llenyddiaeth Gymraeg (in the School of Welsh). In the second and third years students choose most of their subjects from a wide range of options. This provides the opportunity to study the subjects required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board for completion of the academic stage of training of solicitors and barristers.
