The Law Careers and Skills Advisor also runs the Innocence Project, which was set up in 2005-06 following significant interest from students in the area of criminal law and, in particular, miscarriages of justice. Cardiff Law School, in conjunction with Bristol University provided the first national training programme for Universities' Innocence Projects in conjunction with Innocence Network UK. The Law and Careers Skills Advisor also organises pro bono activities within the Law School.
Student Law Society - the Society is run and organised by students in the Law School and arranges social and recreational activities for its members, including the Law Ball, weekend trips and sporting teams.
