Introduction
Hua Li began her PhD research in Jan 2006. She got her master degree in East China Normal University of Shanghai in 1997, and mainly taught Intellectual Property law , Civil procedure law and Private international law , was a part-time lawyer in China. She has published articles on issues of IPR or civil litigation in Chinese Journals , one in the EIPR, 'Major Problems of IPR Protection in China: a view of civil procedure'.
She is interested in comparative legal research, and seeks to explore legal issues and conflicts at the micro level, based on individual cases promoting legal justice. Her PhD thesis is ' the Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in China: A comparative study from the trial of IP cases'. Her supervisors are Professor Bob Lee and Tim Press.
