Introduction
Marie Navarro is a specialist in public law and the new legislative powers of the Welsh Assembly Government and of the National Assembly for Wales.
MPHIL from Cardiff Law School, 2011, entitled The Evolution of Welsh Devolution. Master in Public International Law and European Law from the University of Amiens (France) and Diploma in Legal Studies from Cardiff Law School 1998. Marie Navarro studied law at the University of Jules Vernes Picardie (France) 1994-1998 and for her Master at Cardiff Law School in 1997-8.
She is a Research Associate at Cardiff Law School and the Editor and Chief Researcher to the Law School website Wales Legislation Online which sets out the powers of the National Assembly for Wales and of the Welsh Assembly Government since July 1999: Http://wales-legislation.org.uk . She is also a French Public Law Tutor.
Marie has lectured widely on devolution issues and has given evidence to numerous official bodies in the field.
She is an Associate Lecturer of the National School of Government, the former civil service college.
She is also an independent trainer and legal consultant specialising in understanding devolution and public policy.
She has also carried out research for the Nuffield Trust and the World Helath Organisation in a public health Project 2000-3 and for Nigel Lowe's research with the Hague Permanent Bureau in reltion to international child abduction.
