Introduction
Beke Zwingmann is the Lecturer for Law & German and the Co-Director for the LLB Law & German Programme at Cardiff Law School and a Research Assistant with BRASS - the EHRC Centre fro Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society. She completed her first and second German State examinations in law at Augsburg after studying in Augsburg and Nice, where she obtained a Maîtrise en Droit International. She has previously taught and worked at the University of Augsburg and between 2004 and 2009, she was the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Fachlektorin for German law, also at Cardiff.
She teaches German law, European law and Legal Foundations at Undergraduate level and Environmental law at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.
Her research focuses on International law, Environmental Ethics and Comparative Constitutional law. She is currently working on her PhD in the area of International legal theory and Environmental Ethics under the supervision of Prof. Bob Lee.
