Introduction
Chris joined the Law School in 2003 after a varied legal career. After leaving Wales in 1997 Chris worked at a large civil litigation and commercial property firm called Pitmans in Reading. He dealt with Claimant and Defendant personal injury claims.
He then moved to an in house position as a litigator at Thames Water Utilities Ltd, dealing with commercial risk, environmental prosecutions, asset management and recovery. Chris moved back to Wales in 2003 and lives in Pencoed, South Wales.
Chris is the course leader for the Civil Litigation, Evidence and Remedies course and also teaches resolution of disputes out of court, conferencing and advocacy. He is also the course leader for the Commercial Litigation option.
Chris is an assessor for the CPLS professional development unit and sits on the test board. He is also an external examiner in relation to the Law Society Higher Rights of Audience qualification and ILEX advocacy qualification.
Chris is married with 3 children.
