The title of the PhD is 'Spiritual Care and Public Policy'. It
will explore both the legal and social policy frameworks in which
chaplaincy care currently operates in NHS hospitals, and its aim
is to develop an understanding of chaplaincy both from the perspective
of chaplains, service users, and NHS officials, and to advise on
where spiritual care may be headed in the future.
