I was awarded the Patriarch’s Medal of the Romanian Orthodox Church for my successful defense of the Bessarabian Orthodox Church v. Moldova before the European Court of Human Rights.

Tell us a bit about your current job

I am a Professor, teaching in the fields of theology (Christian apologetics) and law (human rights).

I am also a barrister-at-law, with religious liberties cases at the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg, France.

Did your experience at Cardiff have any particular impact on you?

Cardiff is internationally recognised as a great university: therefore, a Cardiff degree has considerable inherent value.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Centre your life on the gospel of Jesus Christ:  that he died for you and his resurrection from the dead is the sole route to eternal life.  For believers, life has purpose and is in Christ’s hands.
