''It's been one of the best years of my life here at Cardiff University. Forgive the cliché, but this year I tried to work hard and play hard. I believe my efforts have paid off with this scholarship. The scholarship programme provides us students with a sense of achievement and significant financial respite. I feel honoured having secured this scholarship and it is sure to form the impetus behind my studying for next year. This is just one of the things that attracts international students like me to a university that recognises and rewards our ability."
